My name is ElleVera, otherwise known as “Elle.” The artist name that I chose is a “play on words,” combining my name with “Aloe Vera” - a plant that has healing properties. For me, art has a therapeutic and healing nature; I use it to express myself and past experiences. My art can be peaceful or turbulent: encapsulating my state of mind.

I am currently studying Secondary Education and Studio Art at the University of Maryland. I look forward to finding a creative career that allows me to connect people with expressing themselves through art.
